The initiative brought together participants and organizations around a shared goal: creating a sustainable and inspiring space for the community of Shuto Orizari. Beyond creating a physical space, it also fostered new friendships, collaboration, and a sense of belonging.
Through two interactive workshops led by the initiative’s founders, Marjan and Renata, participants had the opportunity to learn about the importance of environmental protection and the strong connection between nature and mental health. The activities were filled with creativity and teamwork — we planted, painted, crafted, and created together.
The most valuable lesson from this experience was that through collaboration, ideas become reality much more easily.
A special contribution came from the volunteers of the Association for Creative Sustainability KOMBO, Youth from Family Diversity, and the Volunteer Center Skopje. Their energy, dedication, and teamwork helped transform the initiative into a true example of collective care and community activism.
The space created through this initiative remains available for the community of Shuto Orizari — as a place for gathering, creativity, and future initiatives that will continue strengthening the local community.
This is yet another reminder that small steps, when taken together, can lead to meaningful change.
